The
National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) statistics on Alaska's 10 Most Stolen
Cars 2008 includes both cars and trucks. The
most expensive property crime in America is Vehicle Theft, with an estimated
cost of over $7.6 billion annually. According
to NICB "Hot Wheels" report released in July 2008, the 10 vehicles most frequently
reported stolen in Alaska in 2007 are:
